You can take a bath in your home with plain clean water. One can take bath in pilgrimage places. After that you can wear Rudraksha. For your information, let me tell you that Rudraksha is anointed.

सबसे पहली बात रुद्राक्ष धारण करने के बाद स्नान नहीं किया जाता है। आप स्नान करने के लिए कुए के जल से स्नान कर सकते है। नदी में स्नान कर सकते है। अपने घर में साधारण साफ जल से स्नान कर सकते है। तीर्थ स्थानों में स्नान कर सकते है। तत्पश्चात आप रुद्राक्ष धारण कर सकते है। आपकी जानकारी के लिए बता दूँ की रुद्राक्ष का अभिषेक होता है।
16) Can we keep rudraksha under main door frame?
No, Rudraksha should not be kept under the main door frame of the house. It is inauspicious. Rudraksha is the image of Shiva. And you can wear the Rudraksha in the form of Shiva around the neck and keep it at the place of worship in your home. Rudraksha can be kept in the safe of the house. But cannot be placed under the main door frame. Because everyone's foot comes on the door frame, everyone crosses the door. Therefore it should not be kept under the door frame.

नहीं, रुद्राक्ष को घर के मुख्या चौखट के नीचे नहीं रखना चाहिए। यह अशुभ होता है। रुद्राक्ष शिवजी का प्रतिरूप होता है। और शिव रूपी रुद्राक्ष को गले में धारण कर सकते है अपने घर के पूजा स्थान पर रख सकते है। रुद्राक्ष को घर की तिजोरी में रख सकते है। लेकिन मुख्या चौखट के नीचे नहीं रख सकते। क्योंकि चौखट पर सबका पैर आता है सब चौखट को लाँघ कर जाते है। इसलिए इसे चौखट के नीचे नहीं रखना चाहिए।
